His works span the period from the Paleolithic era to the present day and, through its breadth of reference, opens new contexts. In his work, he blends heritage and legacy, both in terms of human history and on a personal level. He likes to view his works within an archaeological and global historical context, seeing them as artefacts of the future.

Florian Clemens Meier, born in Munich, was first educated at the International Yacht Restoration School in Newport, RI, USA and then worked as a boat builder and restorator in Australia. In 2019, he moved to Munich to study at the Academy of Fine Arts. 2026 he completed his degree in Fine Art as a master student of Karen Pontoppidan. He was awarded the prize of the Josef-Henselmann-Stiftung for his diploma exhibition. Furthermore, Florian Clemens Meier received an honourable prize by the Danner Stiftung. His work will be shown as part of the Danner Prize exhibition in the Neues Museum Nürnberg (13.11.26-4.4.27). In Munich, his work has been shown at the Stadtmuseum, Space n.n., in the Kunstarkaden and at Karl & Faber, amongst others. Internationally his works have been shown in Lisbon, Stockholm and Basel.
