CITY LAND RIVER – What Is Nature Worth to Me?
Hands-on Activities & Nature Experiences for All Ages
12.6.2026–17.6.2026

The 2025 exhibition “City, Country, River – What Is Nature Worth to Me?” explored the multifaceted relationships between humans and nature in the city. Three elements from the exhibition can now be experienced during Neighborhood Week: a hands-on activity, a species trail, and a wild plant walk invite visitors to reflect on the question: “What is nature worth to me?”

What is nature worth to me?

What value do trees, bodies of water, and drinking fountains hold in an urban context—today and in the future? This interactive installation, consisting of a ticket booth and a map of Munich’s Old Town in the form of a large game board, invites visitors to explore this question from different perspectives in a playful way.
